Hi, I’m Pauline

Owner and designer of KnotFastFashion

I’m inspired by floral and natural elements, three dimensional (3D) textures, and I am obsessed with soft, fluffy blanket yarn and fun colors. I currently design crochet blankets, home decor, and unique flowers, and I plan to branch out to other things later.

My dream is to be known within the fiber arts community as a designer with thorough, accessible, easy-to-understand patterns for multiple crochet levels, and I am working on that dream every day.

When I am not crocheting, designing patterns, or working my full time job (Knot Fast Fashion doesn’t pay the bills yet), you can find me baking bread, paddleboarding, camping, and spending time with friends and family. I do love to explore new places, but mainly if I can crochet on the way there :)

  • My knitting and crocheting journey started in 2nd grade at a school club hosted during lunch, called Yarn Club. From that, I learned how to make scarves, hats, blankets, scrunchies, and teddy bears to donate to homeless shelters and hospitals. Later on, I got into crocheting amigurumi, which I gifted most of to my friends. When I got back into crocheting after graduating from college, I started my slow fashion fiber arts wardrobe.

  • I learned a lot about what goes into designing crochet patterns from participating in pattern tests. Testing for other designers pushed me to learn new skills and to challenge myself in new ways, and I enjoyed that process so much that I wanted to recreate it for others with my own designs.
